At age five I was sleeping with a transistor radio under my pillow at night. I was a silly little kid who was addicted to radio and wanted to crawl inside so I could hang out with Kiss, Led Zeppelin, The Stones, Grateful Dead, Springsteen, and those really cool FM DJ's. Bobby "T" graced the club scene and then finally made it to radio in the early 80’s in the suburbs of New York city. After discovering that my dream radio job paid crap wages, I left radio to become independently wealthy. Also spent a little time following the Grateful Dead around the west coast. Yes I am a hippie freak!
Now I am paying NRC Broadcasting so I can act like a complete idiot every morning on our sister station KSKE Ski Country, and here on KTUN the Eagle in the afternoon.
To borrow a phrase from one of Big Dave's favorite musical duos Donny and Marie Osmond. . .
I'm a little bit country and a lotta bit rock and roll.
